Professor Kim Sanghyun is a qualified specialist in the surgical treatment of various diseases. Over the past ten years,Professor Kim has not only performed many operations on various gastrointestinal diseases, such as obesity, stomach cancer and other gastrointestinal stromal tumors, but also actively participated in research on surgery and published more than 20 scientific papers.
Currently, Kim Sanghyun is a professor in the Department of Surgery and Director of the Center for Bariatric Surgery at the Soonchunhyang University Medical Center in Seoul. The Soonchunhyang Obesity Surgical Center is recognized as one of the largest centers in the Asia-Pacific region outside of Korea. The Bariatric Surgery Center is often visited by foreign specialists in order to learn the know-how of our hospital based on our many years of experience. With the help of various surgical methods, such as gastrectomy, gastric bypass,duastenal intestinal anastomosis, it is possible to achieve effective weight loss, as well as positive dynamics in the treatment of diabetes and metabolic diseases.
