St. Mary's Hospital, Bucheon
St. Mary's Hospital of Bucheon at Catholic University is the first university hospital in Bucheon City. Since its opening in 1958, the hospital has applied leading medical technologies and contributed to the development of healthcare and health promotion of local residents.
St. Mary's Hospital Bucheon has succeeded in performing Asia's first intracranial angioplasty and stenting and still maintains the highest level of cerebrovascular surgery. In the field of transplantation, kidney and bone marrow transplants are successfully performed, as well as liver and kidney transplants from a donor with an unmarked blood group.
According to the Health Insurance Verification and Evaluation Service, the hospital is the best in the metropolitan region for the treatment of oncological diseases such as lung, breast, bowel, liver cancer.
